Japan’s Earthquake Alarms on Cell Phones

September 29, 2010 § Leave a comment

Just before 5pm today, this LOUD whoop whoop sound began all over from everyones mobiles in the office. We asked what it was and it is an earthquake alarm that rings on all persons mobiles in JP to prepare for earthquake as well as tells them location of it. The warning was 30 seconds prior to 10 seconds prior that began on different mobiles. Sure enough there was a 5.6 earthquake in Fukushima within 2 seconds of me being explained this sound.
